How do I connect to MySQL Database?

To connect to your MySQL Database, follow the example below

Host Name: localhost (use exactly "localhost")
Database Name: cpanelUsername_databaseName
Database Username: cpanelUsername_databaseUsername
Database Password: your exact password

Note that these settings may change if you just transferred an existing website to GigaLayer using our site-transfer service. Mostly when this happens you need to update the settings on your application. You can also obtain these settings from your cPanel under Databases
